- Zoom functionality of up to 300% without text spilling off the screen.
- Keyboard navigation for most parts of the application.
- Compatibility with speech recognition software.
- Screen reader compatibility, including support for JAWS, NVDA, and VoiceOver.
- Clear and simplified language throughout the application.
Areas That Do Not Fully Meet Accessibility Standards:
While we have made efforts to enhance accessibility, we acknowledge that there are areas that do not fully meet 'AAA' level WCAG2.1 accessibility standards. These include:
- Insufficient color contrast in some areas of the application.
- Longer sentences in clinical content that exceed 80 characters.
- Keyboard inaccessibility for the signature pad.
- Animations that are not disabled when the user has 'prefers-reduced-motion' set.
- Incomplete hint text for some 'more information' links.
- Autofocusing on certain fields that cannot be disabled, potentially leading to changes in context without user request.
